Snowy Day Family Photo Session in the Lehigh Valley, PA

Whenever someone contacts about a fun photoshoot idea, I’m usually all in and excited for the opportunity. When my girl Timi asked about snow photos, I was so excited. Since this winter has been the snowiest I can remember in a long time here in the Lehigh Valley, I felt confident we would be able to catch some snow falling. We waited for the perfect opportunity and it worked out to be the weekend they weren’t even calling for snow yet! Surprise, we ended up getting a couple of inches (even some still falling while I was shooting!).

I made sure they knew that I had bronchitis and very little voice but that I would keep my distance since all the other logistics seemed to be working out perfectly for us, minus my health. 😀

So mom threw together outfits and blankets and we rolled with it and it looked amazing. We met at their new property in New Tripoli and had a s’mores photoshoot after a few portraits and then went up top in the wide open spot of their future home and had a snow ball fight! These guys are famous for their fun family photoshoot ideas!

I’m always open to unique photo sessions in the winter and I think we nailed it. Also if you ever need an ice cream truck, Timi owns The Nesting Box and I had her serve ice cream at my 40th birthday party and people are still talking about it! THE BEST EVER! Literally.
