My friend Brooks celebrated his first birthday with my “Smash & Splash” session! We started off with portraits on my white brick wall with a dusty blue, tan and cream theme. This set can be duplicated for your cutie’s first birthday photos too! Big sis got in on the action, as well as mom and dad, for some sweet family photos!

He smashed his cake on one of my most popular first birthday backdrops right now with a dusty blue and green balloon arch. My favorite is when cake smashers dive head first into the cake to take a bite and Brooks didn’t disappoint. His smile at the end said it all!

Then we moved outside to capture one of my favorite “splashes” ever! A milk bath with chocolate chip cookies… what one year old wouldn’t love that? Mama brought the milk bottles and was kind enough to leave them with me, so if you bring the milk and cookies we can recreate this look for your little one too!
