Evan and Ashley were the most daring of all of my 2020 couples. They were set to have their wedding celebration at Stroudmoor Country Inn, Woodsgate in early May. Shutdowns happened due to COVID and they had to move their date back. They chose end of June, which I felt was risky considering we didn’t have a reopening date yet. They had a small outdoor celebration on their original wedding day in their parent’s backyard and then had their bigger celebration at Woodsgate in June. It was awesome.

It was my first full wedding, reception and all, after having not worked in months and having so many of my wedding couples postpone. It didn’t disappoint. Everyone was happy to be out, dancing and being social, eating out and not cooking! Myself included.

They had a lovely day, start to finish. They took time to celebrate with their guests and danced the night away. As always, the food was delicious, the ambience was stunning and the overall vibe was great.

Ashley and Evan, your big day didn’t look exactly as you had planned but you never let the disappointment show. You were always go with the flow and I appreciated that about you. I wish you nothing but smooth seas for the rest of your lives together. Thank you for including me in your big day.
