William and Amanda and I met for the first time at their bridal consultation and I immediately knew I would love them right off the bat. They were so fun and immediately I could tell they were perfect for each other. Amanda works at the Steel Stacks and that was where the ceremony and reception was held. I photographed receptions there before but never a ceremony. They got married outside during a Penn State game and the entire crowd went crazy when Amanda came walking out of the doors to come see Will at the altar. It was something I really will never forget. As I’m sure nobody that was there will, either. They chose to do a first look and we did that on the top floor balcony and even though it wasn’t part of the plan, it turned out to be a beautiful spot. I always say you have to roll with the punches on the wedding day- stuff might not always go according to plan and things were running behind that day, so we changed the plan and we made it work for them. In the end, all that matters is that they were married and that they have their memories of the best day of their life!
