If you’ve got ovaries, you might want to hold onto them!

This darling girl newborn session was a dream for me. Her mama brought her custom name blanket from Caden Lane and wanted me to embrace my creativity by allowing me to choose whatever I wanted to capture for her!

I adored her skin tones in mauve but when I captured her awake on the green blanket posed shots, I loved that just as much for her! She was also one of the first babies to use my terracotta newborn posing blanket which I have since enjoyed incorporating into newborn sessions.

Let this session be a reminder that awake newborn photos are beautiful and as long as they are mostly sleepy for their photos, I am okay with it!
