Brittany hired me on the spot the day we met at my house. Harry was working but she said she told him I was the only photographer she wanted. That will never EVER get old and I consider it the greatest honor.
Brittany and Harry are adorable together. We started at Harry’s family’s property in Jim Thorpe where I was ooh-ing and ahh-ing about the light and the location the whole time. So many hidden gems there. Harry said it brought back memories of him hanging out in some of the spots as a child. Brittany showed off her dance moves in her gown and I made them mimic the scene from Dirty Dancing in the meadow with the lift as best as they could. They had their two sweet pups, Lucy (yellow lab) and Beaker (black lab), with us for a few photos. Lucy was a gift to Brittany from Harry for Christmas last year and they adopted/inherited Beaker from her grandfather after he passed and he is a retired service dog for veterans.
To finish up, we headed into the town of Jim Thorpe. I kept joking with Harry calling him “the mayor” because every person we passed seemed to know him.
Another kind and beautiful couple I can’t wait to capture more memories for at their wedding next October at Edgewood Country Club. Looking forward to the wedding at guys. I know it’s going to be amazing! Xo Lg
