Joe and Jessica last wedding of the year. When I got there, Jess was nearly in tears because it looked like the rain was going to be hitting right when the ceremony was supposed to be. If you’ve ever been to the Glasbern Inn for a wedding, you know the highlight of their ceremony spot is overlooking a valley and huge hill and add in end of October color and it’s a bride’s dream. Thankfully they had planned a first look and we were able to do all of their photos outside prior to the ceremony and still have lots of beautiful leaves highlighting their album. They had their pup Argos along and ever had some photos made with him. In true Halloween spirit, a “pumpkin spider”, also known as a marbled-orb weaver, decided to join in on their wedding day and exploded on Jess’ dress when Joe when Joe tried to get it off! I have been photographing Jess’ nephews since their birth and it was so fun to spend a day with them, which even included going to the farm down the street to pet the alpacas and the cow named Yoshi. The kids also sacrificed their trick or treat night, so they trick-or-treated around the reception after dinner. Overall it was the perfect day. Rain and all. Joe and Jess are two people in love and that’s all that matters at the end of the day. Thank you for asking me to be present during your big day.
