It’s July and I’m ready to get you all the deets on Christmas 2024! From session types, backdrop choices, dates, schedules and booking dates and times… it’s all in here. Please read carefully and when you’re done, it would mean the world to me if you’d share it with a friend or on your socials!

I present to you my session offerings for the 2024 Holiday season.

AWESOME SANTA: PICTURES WITH SANTA IN THE LEHIGH VALLEY, PA

Our Santa photos have held a huge place in my heart as a Lehigh Valley Photographer and many years ago, I decided to name them “Awesome Santa” because he truly is… well… AWESOME. From the seamless booking process to the Awesome Santa experience (Santa’s magic giving him the ability to know something special about your child) to your photos arriving in your inbox the same day, has made Awesome Santa sessions a high demand in the Lehigh Valley. Knowing that we have provided 11+ years of Santa photos to families keeps us looking forward to these special moments every year.

Starting last year, Santa has a lot more availability due to him retiring from his main job as a pastor and we were able to do 14 days of Awesome Santa. This year we have him for a whopping 15 days, which will give us more sessions available than we’ve had since 2016. With a lot of weeknights and weekends, we have the ability to schedule him in such a way that allows for plenty of naps and recharge time for him and plenty of time with the kiddos!

I still anticipate that these sessions will sell out,

so definitely don’t wait on it if you want one…

I chose a beautiful outdoor snowy scene this year and will decide later what chair Santa will sit on. We will call it “Winter Wonderland” and here is the big reveal:

I picture Santa popping in red and outfits can be winter attire, furry coats or even PJs and lots of reds, blues, greens, silver, gold… really any color would be amazing. I’m excited to see everyone’s creative outfit choices! I have been dreaming about this set for a year, so I’ll hope you’ll love it as much as I do!

In-Studio Holiday Family and Children Mini Sessions

With some new backdrops for this season and more weekend availability to shoot, I am able to accommodate more sessions than I have in a long time! I chose 4 gorgeous backdrops that will compliment your Christmas card beautifully.

Sessions are 20-30 minutes long but booked every 45 minutes to allow for time to clean and reset in between. You may choose one, two or three backdrops and one outfit change is allowed. Sessions are booked by household so if you’re trying to get a cousins picture for Gram, book two back to back!

Backdrop 1– “Winter Wonderland”: Due to the continuing tree shortage at our favorite tree farm, I have decided to skip outdoor tree farm again this year and focus on having an indoor “tree” option during my in-studio holiday minis. This year, this will also be the “Awesome Santa” backdrop as well and I’ve had my heart set on this backdrop since last year. It is a snow covered tree farm with a white fence and this is the perfect set for snowball fights and the ability to add “magic” snow falling to your photos. Outdoor attire like fur accented coats or puffer vests, scarves, hats and gloves will look adorable on this backdrop! I know I’ll see some gorgeous fancy dresses and outfits as well, which I think will look stunning.

Backdrop 2– “Country Christmas Store”: This rustic country store front stole my heart and I think it will yours, too! Picture my little red trike out front and fun props to make this street scene perfection. Reds, greens and golds will look great with this set! Plaid flannels and even jammies will look awesome here, too!

Backdrop 3– “Colorful Christmas”: I’m bringing this backdrop back from 2020 and it is super colorful and fun! I’ll have wrapped presents as props and big colorful Christmas ornaments. Any outfit color can work on this one and the last time we did it, pjs were super fun!

Backdrop 4– “Festive Red Kitchen”: This is the very first year I’m offering an interactive kitchen set for Christmas Minis and I can’t wait! I did one for Easter once and it was the highlight of the season. I’ll have a kitchen counter and interactive baking props for pretend Christmas cookie baking. PJs will be adorable in the kitchen to create a home-y vibe but dresses and dress clothes would be just as nice!

Price: $250 (1 Backdrop)/ $275 (2 Backdrops)/ $300 (3 Backdrops) plus tax, $53 retainer due at booking

Includes: 5/7/10 digital images depending if you choose 1/2/3 backdrops, 20-30 minute session (booked every 45 minutes), Online gallery to purchase extra digital images, prints & products

Frequently Asked Questions:

Question- Can we see examples of what the booking page will look like for In-Studio Christmas Minis and Santa?

Answer- If you have booked with us in the past year, you have seen our online scheduler, which will be how we will be booking for BOTH Awesome Santa and In-Studio Christmas Minis. The sessions will be made available on the booking dates above. All other studio sessions will temporarily be removed from the booking site to make it easier to select the session type. For Awesome Santa, you will click on that session type and then you will scroll to November/December to see the available dates and times. For In-Studio Christmas Minis, you will choose from 1, 2 or 3 backdrops and then click to see the dates and times.

Please click only on the date/time you want to book and click “Book” to complete your booking. Clicking on a time will hold that session for you for 15 minutes as you complete your booking details, so you don’t have to rush. You’ll fill out your personal info and pay the retainer when booking. If you should back out of the booking page, it stalls out or it tells you the session is no longer available, go back to the calendar and refresh periodically for the next 15-20 minutes to see if another spot becomes available that you can grab.

Question- What if I don’t see any spots left?

Answer- There will be waitlist forms for each of the session types which will are all linked above and will be made active if the sessions sell out. We will contact you as spots become available.

Question- Can I bring my parents, aunt, uncle etc to the session for photos? How about to watch the session?
Answer- All sessions are priced and booked per family/household, so please bring only your immediate family for photos. Bringing family members to watch or help to get smiles is always encouraged.

Question- Can I bring my pet dog, cat, iguana, snake, chickens etc?
Answer- Because of many people in and out of the studio and allergies, unfortunately we cannot permit pets inside the studio.

Question- Can I still book a cousins session for any of these holiday sessions?
Answer- For Awesome Santa, if you are able to grab two times back to back, then we can do cousin photos in between spots. However, these cousin sessions are best accomodating for the In-Studio Christmas Minis and can be booked per request.

Question- Can I book multiple types of sessions?
Answer- Yes! As long as you are able to get a spot for any session you choose, it’s yours! ONE session per family please for Santa.

Question- Is my retainer refundable or transferable to another session?
Answer- Unfortunately no, not unless I have enough time to fill your spot.

Question- What if I have a conflict and want to switch my session date or time?
Answer- A lot of work goes into preparing for your Awesome Santa session well ahead of time. Last minute schedule changes MUST be made a week in advance unless your child is sick.

Question- What if my child wakes up sick on a session day?
Answer- Please cancel. We don’t want anyone getting sick, especially Santa. We will try our best to get you in another day if possible or for a different holiday session.

Question- Can we use gift certificates on holiday minis?
Answer- Yes, they can be used on In-Studio Christmas Minis but NOT for Santa.

DONATIONS AND PAYING IT FORWARD OPPORTUNITIES:

Every year during the holidays, I like to help people pay it forward and give back to the community. Since the last few years were such a great success and we made such a huge impact, we’ve chosen to work with The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley again to make #HolidayHopeChests, which make such an impact on local families. They’re wrapped shoe boxes filled with goodies and necessities for boys and girls ages 2-12. This year, we are also adding a sign up section for $20 gift cards for teens ages 13 and up. Places like Target, Walmart, Amazon, Five Below, Dunkin’, McDonald’s, Chik-Fil-A, Burger King, Starbucks, Visa Gift Cards etc would be wonderful gifts so that they can shop for whatever they would like or treat themselves to coffee or food long after the holidays.

Last year, we collected 249 Holiday Hope Chests and 100 gift cards. This year, we will pledge to donate 300 Holiday Hope Chests and 100 gift cards, but I am confident we may even be able to exceed that! Each box and every $20 gift card gets you an entry to win a $500 LG GIFT CERTIFICATE! We will be collecting these boxes and gift cards at several drop off spots in the Lehigh Valley to make it more convenient for you.

To make sure we have them split them evenly for the children receiving them, we have created a sign up for you to pledge how many boxes/gift cards and the age group/gender you will be making them for. You may sign up for multiple boxes or gift cards!!! We know that with all of us coming together, we can reach or even exceed our goal this year. Deadline to drop boxes will be December 9th this year, unless we need to adjust the due date once we hear from the Volunteer Center. Below is the link to pledge/sign up for boxes you wish to donate this year and it is active now, so sign up before your preferred ages are filled! If you would like to bring a gift card or box for a certain age and the sign up for those are full, you are welcome to still donate those as we can always exceed our pledges.

We will also be accepting monetary donations towards making boxes to help fulfill our pledged goal. You can Venmo me @Lori-Generose with the subject AWESOME or you can leave a donation at the session time. If we receive more monetary donation than boxes pledged, we will donate to Hope185, a non-profit organization through my church to help provide Christmas gifts to orphaned children in foster care in the Lehigh Valley.

Don’t forget, we will also continue to collect PB&J from now until forever! For every pair of peanut butter (or other types of nut butter) and jelly you bring to the studio, you will be entered into a drawing for a $20 gift card. We will draw 12 winners at the end of the year (one for each month of the year). This is an easy way to give back to local food banks in our area.
