Awesome Santa photos, Studio Christmas pictures and Tree Farm photos at LG Photography!

It’s July and I’m ready to break down Christmas 2023 in full detail for you. From session types, backdrop choices, dates, schedules and booking dates and times… it’s all in here. Please read carefully and when you’re done, it would mean the world to me if you’d share it with a friend or on your socials!

I present to you my session offerings for the 2023 Holiday season.

AWESOME SANTA: PICTURES WITH SANTA

IN THE LEHIGH VALLEY, PA

Dubbed “Awesome Santa” by me many moons ago, our Santa photos have become a huge part of my life as a Lehigh Valley Photographer. Our seamless process for booking, paired with the Awesome Santa experience itself (the super fast turnaround time to see your photos, a special gift for the kids and Santa’s uncanny ability to know specifics about each child’s wants) has made Awesome Santa sessions a hot commodity. We have provided 10+ years of Santa photos to Lehigh Valley families.

This year, we are pleased to announce that we should NOT be breaking Google because Santa has a lot more availability than ever before due to him retiring from his main job as a pastor. We have more sessions available than we’ve had since 2016. Mainly shooting weeknights and weekends, we have the ability to schedule him in such a way that allows for plenty of naps and recharge time for him and plenty of time with the kiddos!

I still anticipate that these sessions will sell out,

so definitely don’t wait on it if you want one…

I chose a gorgeous street scene this year and will decide later what chair Santa will sit on. We will call it “Peppermint Plaza” and here is the big reveal:

I picture lots of gorgeous reds, blues, pastels and traditional Christmas colors as well. I’m excited to see everyone’s creative outfit choices! It photographs very realistically, I am thrilled with my choice and I hope you will be, too!

I decided the price for these will remain as it was last year, no price increase for the 2023 season. All keeper photos included as always with the option to order professional products and prints from a password protected gallery.

In-Studio Holiday Family and Children Mini Sessions

With more backdrops than ever and more weekend availability to shoot, I am able to accommodate more sessions than I have in a long time! I chose 5 beautiful backdrops that will compliment your Christmas card beautifully.

Sessions are 30 minutes long but booked every 45 minutes to allow for time to clean and reset in between. You may choose one, two or three backdrops and one outfit change is allowed. Sessions are booked by household so if you’re trying to get a cousins picture for Gram, book two back to back!

Backdrop 1– “Red Barn Tree Farm”: Due to the tree shortage at our favorite tree farm, I have decided to skip outdoor tree farm this year and focus on having a realistic indoor option during my in-studio holiday minis. I chose a tree farm and barn backdrop that I fell in love with the moment I saw it.

Backdrop 2– “Creamy Cocoa Stand”: This beautiful off-white and rustic cocoa stand is probably going to be my favorite. I have lots of props to add in for your family to hold. I think you could be dressed up for this one or in some cute hats and gloves. Pajamas could be really cute for this one as well! I have a miniature version of this one too for the little ones so they don’t get lost in the picture for their alone photos.

Backdrop 3– “Emerald Elegance”: This stunning and elegant green and gold set is ready for your Christmas best. Although I think golds will look amazing, you can still put some pops of color in there to tie it all together nicely. Jewel tones of maroons and blues will look great too!

Backdrop 4– “Cozy Bedside”: This set is going to look best with your holiday jammies with pops of plaid and a rustic flair. I have a full size bed for snuggles. Bring your favorite book and your matching blanket if you’d like. It’s going to be the perfect addition to your holiday card! Go home in your jammies ready for bed!

Backdrop 5– “Peppermint Plaza”: Our last backdrop for in-studio minis will be the Santa backdrop. I think any outfit will look great, even pajamas with this one! The difference will be that I have a little red tricycle to ride in the street for the littles, this will be great for families to spread out a little bit, and for kids to have a snowball fight!

Dates: November 5th-November 18th

Price: $200 (1 Backdrop)/ $225 (2 Backdrops)/ $275 (3 Backdrops) plus tax, $53 retainer due at booking

Includes: 5/7/10 digital images depending if you choose 1/2/3 backdrops, 30 minute session (booked every 45 minutes), Online gallery to purchase extra digital images, prints & products

Frequently Asked Questions:

Question- 

Can we see examples of what the booking page will look like for In-Studio Christmas Minis and Santa?

Answer-If you have booked with us in the past year, you have seen our online scheduler, which now has In-Studio Christmas Minis and Awesome Santa Session available for booking now. You will choose from 1, 2 or 3 backdrops for the Christmas Studio Minis and then click CHOOSE SESSION as seen in the example below:

This will take you to a calendar to pick your date, you will arrow the month over to November/December and grab a date and time that works for you ASAP!

Once you click on it, you will fill out your personal info quickly and pay the retainer immediately. If it stalls out and doesn’t go through or it then tells you the session time is no longer available, go back refresh periodically for the next 15-20 minutes to see if another spot becomes available that you can grab.

Question- What if I don’t see any spots left?

Answer- There will be waitlist forms for each of the session types which will are all linked above. We will contact you as spots become available.

Question- Can I bring my parents, aunt, uncle etc to the session for photos? How about to watch the session?
Answer- All sessions are priced and booked per family/household, so please bring only your immediate family for photos. Bringing family members to watch or help to get smiles is always encouraged.

Question- Can I still book a cousins session for any of these holiday sessions?
Answer- These would have to be booked per request or you can book back to back time slots with cousin photos in between and best accommodating for the In-Studio Christmas Minis.

Question- Can I book multiple types of sessions?
Answer- Yes! As long as you are able to get a spot for any session you choose, it’s yours! ONE session per family though for Santa (read more details on this above).

Question- Is my retainer refundable or transferable to another session?
Answer- Unfortunately no, not unless I have enough time to fill your spot.

Question- What if my child wakes up sick on a session day?
Answer- Please cancel. We don’t want anyone getting sick, especially Santa. We will try our best to get you in another day if possible or for a different holiday session.

Question- Can we use gift certificates on holiday minis?
Answer- Yes, they can be used on In-Studio Christmas Minis but NOT for Santa.

DONATIONS AND PAYING IT FORWARD OPPORTUNITIES:

Every year during the holidays, I like to help people pay it forward and give back to the community. Since the last few years were such a great success and we made such a huge impact, we’ve chosen to work with The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley again to make #HolidayHopeChests, which make such an impact on local families. They’re wrapped shoe boxes filled with goodies and necessities for boys and girls ages 2-12. This year, we are also adding a sign up section for $20 gift cards for teens ages 13 and up. Places like Target, Walmart, Amazon, Five Below, Dunkin’, McDonald’s, Chik-Fil-A, Burger King, Starbucks, Visa Gift Cards etc would be wonderful gifts so that they can shop for whatever they would like or treat themselves to coffee or food long after the holidays. 

Last year, we collected 409 Holiday Hope Chests and 48 gift cards. This year, we will pledge to donate 400 Holiday Hope Chests and 100 gift cards, but I am confident we may even be able to exceed that! Each box and every $20 gift card gets you an entry to win a $500 LG GIFT CERTIFICATE! We will be collecting these boxes and gift cards at several drop off spots in the Lehigh Valley to make it more convenient for you.

To make sure we have them split them evenly for the children receiving them, we have created a sign up for you to pledge how many boxes/gift cards and the age group/gender you will be making them for. You may sign up for multiple boxes or gift cards!!! We know that with all of us coming together, we can reach or even exceed our goal of 400 boxes and 100 gift cards this year. Deadline to drop boxes will be November 26th this year, unless we can push back a bit once we get the drop off dates from the Volunteer Center. Below is the link to pledge/sign up for boxes you wish to donate this year and it is active now, so sign up before your preferred ages are filled! If you would like to bring a gift card or box for a certain age and the sign up for those are full, you are welcome to still donate those as we can always exceed our pledges.

We will also be accepting monetary donations towards making boxes to help fulfill our pledged goal. You can Venmo me @Lori-Generose with the subject AWESOME or you can leave a donation at the session time. If we receive more monetary donation than boxes pledged, we will donate to Hope185, a non-profit organization through my church to help provide Christmas gifts to orphaned children in foster care in the Lehigh Valley.

Don’t forget, we will also continue to collect PB&J from now until forever! For every pair of peanut butter (or other types of nut butter) and jelly you bring to the studio, you will be entered into a drawing for a $20 gift card. We will draw 12 winners at the end of the year (one for each month of the year). This is an easy way to give back to local food banks in our area.
