I know I’ve trained you for years on how I book sessions here at LG Photography, but booking at 9pm on the first of the month for the next month is a thing of the past! Don’t worry, the new way is going to be SOO much better for you!

Let me explain… as you know, we have two little babies who need lots of attention, which has drastically shifted my availability. Where I used to only work weekdays, I now mostly work weekends. Where I used to have weddings every weekend, I can now fill up weekends with studio sessions. In the past, weekday evening sessions were hard to come by and limited, so we always booked on the first of the month to give everybody a fair chance at getting a spot.

You spoke and I listened!

I can’t tell you how many times I have heard from people walking into the studio, “I was on RIGHT AT 9pm, freaking out and screaming for everyone to leave me alone so I could get a timeslot!!” or the partner of the person booking saying, “I haven’t seen her that stressed about anything!”

Let me say this: I am sorry for stressing you out! My goal moving forward is to take away all the stressors related to family pictures, from booking to ordering prints and everything in between! In the past, I did the best I could with the time I had available… but times they are a-changin’!

Moving forward, we welcome you to follow these steps to make the process of getting a session with me stress-free:

• Reach out to us to “get on the list” for your child’s birthday month or your preferred season for family photos, like we used to do in the past… long before our days with Tanya!
• We still encourage to reach out early, but the pressure is no longer on you to “hurry up and try to get a spot” at 9pm when you’re trying to do a thousand other mom things.
• When we are ready to book for the time frame you need (when we have a calendar set), you will be contacted first before it goes live to my newsletter list and to the rest of the world!

We hope that this will alleviate stress for you and make for an overall more enjoyable experience. 

*Keep in mind, this new booking process will not affect the way we book themed mini sessions, i.e. holiday sessions, Awesome Santa and other seasonal sessions offered throughout the year. Booking announcements for those will come to your inbox through our usual newsletter as they become available. We are working on a way to make this process equally as seamless so hang tight!
