2020 was truly one for the record books. One year ago today, we all were thinking, “2020!! new decade, woot woot!” And then BAM!!!! We got smashed in the face like that idiot did with a twisted tea can. And the hits just kept on coming. From shut downs, to the toilet paper situation, the ever-changing rules and recommendations as we learned more about the virus and the constant sense uncertainty and second guessing (literally) every decision we made. From walking into the grocery store to giving a hug to a loved one. It was exhausting.

But being a glass half full kinda gal, I like to think of the positives.

I got to capture nearly 100 newborns. That means almost 100 people I met this year had one of the best years of their lives. That’s pretty profound.

I got to capture some weddings, engagements, seniors who graduated, pregnancy announcements and more.

Personally, I got to spend so much time with my kids and family. Walks, bike rides, swimming and fishing. We got to go to Yankees spring training for the first time with the kids, in March.

I know many of you have lost loved ones this year. There’s nothing positive about that. I know there are some who lost jobs and faced true hardship. I’m not making light of any of that. My prayer for all of us in 2021 is that we will come together and that we’ll love and support each other more than ever. That we will lift each other up, regardless of our differences. You truly never know the battle someone might be facing behind their facade.

My promise to you in 2021 is to continue to provide a happy place where you can come and have your family captured. Classically and timelessly. I will be working hard with some new companies to bring you the best products for you to display your beautiful memories. We have some new wood and acrylic prints up our sleeves. I promise to continue to provide a safe and clean studio for your children and family. Your health and safety is my number one priority.

Tonight we will be booking our Valentine’s Day minis! They will be two weeks from today on Martin Luther king day! Jan 18th. The kiddos have off that day and I’ll book as many sessions as I need for the whole day. Our backdrop is an all white ballon wall with white floor!

Feel free to bring your own prop ideas! Sessions are 10 minutes. $150. They include 5 digital images and a set of wallet prints. Limited to one household as usual. The backdrop is so beautiful, I encourage family portraits to get an updated family shot so come dressed and ready! February studio milestone/birthday sessions will also be opening for booking this week on WEDNESDAY night, January 6th at 9:00pm. You can book that night for any missed January birthdays or upcoming February or March milestones/birthdays.
