There has never been a Petrone wedding that I’ve been invited to that I haven’t had an amazing time… Charelle and Brett’s wedding was no exception. 

I’ve been friends with Charelle since my hubs and I met. We’ve been on vacations together, I have photographed her girls’ newborn and first birthday photos. I’ve been to about 20 of her large family’s weddings and have grown to love them all like a second family. When she told me she was getting married and wanted me to photograph it, I was all in and couldn’t wait. 

Edgewood in the Pines in Drums, PA was the perfect venue for an early fall outdoor wedding. The leaves were changing colors, which I couldn’t believe because they hadn’t looked anything like that at home and it’s only one hour north of my house. The ceremony was held outside, as was the reception, under the most beautiful tent with a clear top. I highly suggest a tent with a clear top, by the way, because it made for the most beautiful photos and to watch the sunset through the top of the tent was pretty cool. After the ceremony we meandered through the golf course and got some beautiful photos with the leaves and on the bridges. There ended up being a really pretty sunset so I took them back out on the path for that as well.

The dance floor was packed all night and mostly with the ring bearer and flower girls stealing the show. After I put my camera down and became a guest at the end of the night, the ring bearer kept walking over to my table and standing next to me as if to say, “let’s dance!” 

I kept telling Brett and Charelle that they had the most beautiful day. Perfect weather. Amazing views. Surrounded by the closest family and friends. I know it’s not the wedding that they had hoped it would be before Covid struck, but they made the best of it and I’d say it turned out pretty great! 

Brett and Charelle, I hope you guys have the happiest years together. We wish you nothing but the best life has to offer. You both deserve it!!!
