Julia and Steve, where do I start. A few weddings in my career have stood out to me as ones I know I will never ever forget. Ones that I’ll forever look back on and wish I could redo. Ones that remind me why I shoot weddings and how blessed I am to be a part of something so monumental, intimate and beautiful. This wedding is one of those.   In typical 2018 wedding season fashion, it rained on their big day. It was a constant foggy drizzle the entire day. Honestly, it was the perfect type of rain because it didn’t affect anyone’s hair or makeup and made for some moody and intimate portraits. Riverview Country Club was the perfect host for such a day with their picturesque hills and dynamic grounds.   I find a lot of my favorite weddings are influenced a lot by the ceremony itself.  Their priest, Father Peter Donohue, the President of Villanova University, delivered one of the most uplifting and beautiful messages I’ve ever heard. I found myself crying along with everyone else during the ceremony.   After formal photos, the new Mr. and Mrs. delivered their first dance outside on the boardwalk for all of their guests watching from the patio. They all danced the night away and they traded in their sunset for an unforgettable rain photo. I highly recommend their videographer, Through Shallow Depths, and their preview wedding video is just gorgeous.
