So Courtney and I have known each other a long time, since she’s besties with my little sister. We’ve been to the beach together more than once and she has always been such a pleasant and positive influence around my kids. 

When she and Dan got engaged and she asked me to photograph their wedding, I was thrilled! Not only because it was her and I was so happy I could be there to see her be married, it was at Woodstone Country Club which I LOVE to work at! 

Dan and Court are the cutest!!! They love each other so much and although Dan was somewhat quiet through the engagement session and other meetings we’ve been together, I saw him relaxed and having a blast with his bride. 

Just as we finished up portraits on the golf course, the sky opened up just before we made it back to the lodge on our golf carts and it poured. It was a blessing from above that I got to finish up all the photos before the sky opened up!! 

As always, the food at Woodstone was awesome and DJ Freddie kept the party hoppin’ all night! The bridal party was so fun and even “Iced” the one groomsman during intros… by the way, I realized I was old when last year my bride told me her groom was going to be “Iced” and I had absolutely no idea what that meant and the bridal party had to tell me.

Courtney and Dan, I wish every happiness this life has to offer and I look forward to seeing what the future brings for you.  xoLG
