Hey friends! I don’t always take a week to write a blog but when I do, it’s because it’s super important for you to read it.

In the biggest and best news: Since 2021, we were fostering our two little babes and as of January 7, 2025 they are OFFICIALLY GENEROSES! We adopted Oliver and Olivia and became a forever family of 6! My heart is overflowing and for the first time in a long time, I feel light as a feather and my creativity is soaring as I prepare for the BEST.YEAR.EVER!! Quite literally in every way!

Next, let me just take a moment to reflect on 2024. What a year!!! In total I shot 740 sessions including 228 Awesome Santa sessions (the most since 2017!), 62 newborns and 80 cake smashes along with lots of seniors and families as well. Thank you for trusting me with your most precious memories! I’ve had such a joyful year and that is all thanks to YOU! After a very busy fall and holiday season, Tanya and I have thoroughly enjoyed the last few weeks to rest and recharge. We have really been intentional with our time on this break and we are kicking things off big with this blog and plan for the year!

I am also excited to share the WINNERS of our holiday giveaways! This year you guys were amazing as always for our Holiday Hope Chest donations and the grand total collected was 165 boxes and 125 gift cards! The difference we made together to help kids in need in the Lehigh Valley is incredible.

The Parkland C.A.R.E.S. Food Pantry was also blown away by your PB&J donations! What a blessing to local families we were able to provide.

The next giveaway to announce winners for is the Print Order Giveaway for any print orders over $100 that were placed in November & December! I love doing this each year to encourage printing your photos and gifting them as well. Thank you to all who placed an order!

Lastly, I received so many beautiful Christmas Cards and it always brings joy to my face when I get to open them and see your gorgeous faces. My holiday guests also love looking at them when they come in the door. Bonus is that by sending me a Christmas Card with a photo I’ve taken being used, you get entered into a giveaway for a FREE Christmas Studio Mini for the next year and I also choose a few extra to win some gift cards!

With that, I am so excited to introduce 2025 as the “Year Of Mini Sessions” and I am planning exciting new sessions to come every month! Take a few minutes and see what’s in store for this upcoming year! Of course, these are all in addition my normal birthday and milestone sessions I always offer.

~ January ~ Valentine Mini Sessions

Starting the year off with one of my favorites that I’ve been doing since the days of having my studio in my basement… Valentine Minis! As always, I’ll have tons of fun additional props and this is the first year you’ll your choice between TWO backdrop options!

~ February ~ Black & White Portrait Sessions

Black and white portraits, exactly as they sound!!! You will not be getting color photos… ONLY black and white images in your gallery! Think classic… think timeless… think about a statement piece for your wall! Ideal for family photos, but can also be for updated pics of the kids! I think I’ll have two options for backdrops based on your clothing choices but one charcoal dark gray almost black and one all white. I think these will be popular and I think if they are I’ll offer them again later in the year and for years to come!

When: Saturday, February 15th

Package: $275 plus tax

Includes: 15 Minute Session 5 digital images, Gallery to purchase additional digital images and prints/products

~ March ~ Spring/Easter Mini Sessions 🌸

As always, I’ll have three backdrop options (at least one or two large enough for family photos) where you can get your Spring/Easter photos dressed in your Sunday best! These can be family photos or children only and they will be held in mid March. Booking and all package details will be announced soon and booking will be February 1!

*NEW THIS YEAR!* 🐰 Easter Bunny Minis!

These Easter Bunny Mini Sessions will be SEPARATE from Spring/Easter Minis. Just like at the mall, except you’ll make an appointment instead of waiting in line! They will be quick sessions on the Easter Bunny’s lap or a bench and the backdrop will be the Grandma’s Cottage backdrop below from last year’s Spring Minis. There will be a few package options depending on whether you’re looking for prints or digital images. These will be one weekend only, likely in April the weekend before Easter. I’m currently working hard on securing a non-creepy and super friendly Easter bunny so stay tuned for that. These will be open for booking on February 1 as well when the Spring/Easter Mini Sessions open up.

My mind has been whirling with lots of possibilities, but here are my ideas for the rest of the year! As the year goes on, there will be more announcements of details for each of these with packages, backdrops and booking info to come in future newsletters!

~ April ~ Mommy & Me Minis

Every year I get asked if I do Mother’s Day sessions and this year I can say YES! These would be a perfect gift for Dads or grown kids to gift, for Moms to do with their littles and then gift to Dad for Father’s Day or just to book for yourself Mama because… well… YOU DESERVE IT! There’s nothing more important than getting in front of the camera rather than behind it and grabbing those special shots with your littles! We’ll be focusing on connection and interaction versus perfect posing looking at the camera the whole time. I’m thinking I’ll be using my new and revamped “living room” in the studio. I got a new couch, a rug and a beautiful wall to tie it all together. Bring your favorite book, if you’re nursing… do it or whatever you can think that might make these photos something to treasure for years to come! I will have photos to show of this set in the coming weeks.

~ May ~ Daddy & Me Minis

Same as above, but for the Dads this time! Thinking I’ll be using a solid colored seamless paper in the studio. Focusing on connection and Dad interacting with the kiddos!

~ June ~ Pre-K/Kindergarten Graduation Minis

These were a HUGE hit last year and I cannot wait to do them again! I had such a great turnout and everyone loved them. These graduation milestones only happen once, so why not capture it?

~ July ~ Confetti Mini Sessions

Just as they sound, this will be so much fun and perfect for summer birthdays or just for fun! Solid seamless backdrop with REAL paper confetti for the kids to throw and play in. I’m looking SO forward to these for 2025! Prepare for a dance party in the studio and lots of giggles and feel free to use this session as your child’s birthday milestone, I’d be happy to add a birthday number if you wanted!

~ August ~ Outdoor Summer Minis

Your tan will be poppin’ lets get outside and make some magic! Short and sweet summer minis at a location TBD… these will be very limited to allow for rescheduling for rainouts!

~ September/October ~ Fall Mini Sessions

As I do every year, I’ll be offering a variety of outdoor family shorties and fall mini sessions. These are always super popular and usually book by August so you won’t want to wait on these!

~ October/November ~ Christmas Mini Sessions

This year I’m planning some classics and some new fun sessions including:

~Christmas Studio Minis (same as I’ve always done with beautiful new backdrops!)

~ Christmas Baking with Grandma (I’m super excited for this new one!)

~Tree Farm Minis!!!

Yes!!! You heard that right…. we’re going back to the tree farm! I know many of you guys are so excited to hear that, as I’ve had so many ask for that since we had to take a break for the last few years. I won’t be doing all the props as I used to back in the day (remember the year I had to rent a U-Haul box truck???) but I’ll have a chair or a couch and I promise it’ll be beautiful!!

~ November ~ New Year’s Glam Minis

Think FANCY and CELEBRATE the new year with me! Perfect for those who want to do something different this year and send out a New Year’s card too or instead of a Christmas Card. I already know it’ll be silver, it’ll be shiny and it will be SPECTACULAR!

Notice there’s nothing about Santa? 😢

In case you missed it in the newsletter, sadly our very AWESOME Santa sessions have had to come to an end. See the video where Santa and I announce it to the world HERE (I reference him as “Uncle Paul” and just FYI- we said “he’s moving on to a new studio” just in case any kids are listening, but he is actually retiring from Awesome Santa. So watch discreetly depending on your kids ages!).

~ December ~ OFF!!!!

For the first time in a long while, I plan to take (almost) the entire month of December off in 2025. Time to rest and catch up on editing 😉 Keep in mind this might mean your birthday session might have to take place in late November or early January!
