This is life: You finally plan and coordinate outfits, schedules and a non-rainy day… you pull in only to find one of your two year old twins threw up all over himself, his carseat, the car door and you don’t have another set of clothes that coordinates. BUT, you do have a pair of navy play shorts and a gray Star Wars shirt that might be a possibility! You contemplate rescheduling but it would be nearly impossible to get everyone back here again and ready for photos. So you decide that it’s a “Star Wars shirt inside out and a roll with the punches kinda afternoon”. Your twins want to chase squirrels, pick rocks and hide sticks so you let them roam and grab them in between for a quick photo in the mix! And this is what that looks like. But guess what? It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter if they’re not looking at the camera in every single image or if they’re crying in some. These moments are precious and priceless. You can never ever get these moments back and great grandma, who’s almost 87 and has raised three kids of her own, just smiles and loves every second. She smiles because she knows… this is life and life isn’t always perfect… but it’s always wonderful! Since this crazy session, great grandma who turns 87 in November, has broken her femur. All they keep thinking is “Thank goodness we went through with that photo shoot!” Photos are priceless guys. These pictures are proof. Don’t put it off because tomorrow isn’t promised to us. This is what keeps me going. This right here.
